Classes
Whatever your skill level is, Kids First can provide just the right class for
all your cheerleading needs.
Cheer/Tumbling
Classes:
The Storm All Star tumbling classes dedicate their time to the tumbling skills
required for cheerleading. The goal of the tumbling classes is to spend 75%
of the time on physical tumbling and the other 25% on popper stretching/conditioning
and jumps.
Classes are divided
by skill level to insure safety for everyone. Each class follows
a series of lesson plans created for the proper progressions of
the required skills. Each student receives individual attention
in a class setting with a student/teacher ration of 8 to 1. During
the classes, students see their progress on their own personal
skill chart. On the last week of the class, students preform the
skills learned and take home a certificate of completion.
Cheery O's:
A fun, introductory cheerleading and movement class designed to teach basic cheerleading and tumbling to young kids.
What
to wear:
Students are asked to wear proper sports attire: shorts with out pockets or
belt loops, a shirt that can be tucked in and cheer shoes. Please make sure
all hair is pulled back out of the face and up off the neck. Jewelry is not
allowed in the gym. Food and drinks may be eaten in the cafe but are not allowed
in the gym area.
