HISTORY
It was 37 years ago January 6, 1975 that Queen City Gymnastics opened its doors at 6505 Corporate Drive, about 1.5 miles from Kids First. It was thirteen years ago, April 6, 1998, that Queen City Gymnastics 'evolved into' Kids First Sports Center.

Much has changed over these three decades: originally, I personally taught every student and knew most of the parents' names; our original facility was the size of the Starfish Pool and 19 of them would fit inside Kids First; an air conditioned gym was unheard of (man, did the summers get hot!) and we had one phone line, no receptionist and no computers.

However, much has stayed the same, in particular, our foundational principles. Since the beginning, Our Company has existed for one reason: to do good things for kids and it remains my pledge to you to do everything in my power to see that every Kids First happening is in harmony with that goal.

OUR NAME IS OUR MODEL
No matter if you are from the West side of Cincinnati, or the West coast of the USA, search high and low, and you will find NOTHING like Kids First. Conceived by a core of loyal employees, Kids First stands apart from everything else in the nation. Kids First was NOT created like traditional sports complexes which collect various sports under one roof and then go about finding clients of any age to engage in the sport. Kids First first identified its client—kids—and thenwe went about identifying instructional activities which were good for kids. Our name says it best: we place kids first and sports second. There is a simple reason why, nationally, numerous organizations have tried to duplicate Kids First's success and all have failed: they lack Kids First's commitment to its clients—your kids.

TEACHERS AND EMPLOYEES
Today, Kids First has 155 employees. But not just any 155 employees, 155 of the best employees in the industry! It is safe to say, in this respect (and others), Kids First is the envy of its industry. Visit almost any gymnastics or swim school in the USA and ask the proprietors who sets the standard and Kids First will appear on virtually every list.
