Ronnie Grandison Basketball Academy is a fitness and sports center providing professional training in the areas of basketball, volleyball, and fitness. Our programs are designed by professionals that have the proper knowledge base and experience. It is our mission to provide an educational and fun environment, and we are dedicated to the development of our students regardless of their skill level. Family-oriented, RGBA offers programming for a variety of ages. It is our goal to teach students life lessons through physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.


RGB Winter Youth Rec League for Kindergarten and 1st Graders:

Winter Youth Rec League Now’s the opportunity for your child to experience the “fun” in fundamentals while learning the game of basketball! Our youth rec league is an instructional league that will help your child learn the basics of basketball in a fun and exciting way. 

Your child's development is our focus, and we have designed our winter rec league with this in mind. Our professional coaching staff will work with your child on the fundamental skills of the game like dribbling, shooting, passing and man-to-man defense. Session 1 begins November 6th 
(Dates: November 6, 13, 20, December 4, 11 and 18)

Session 2 begins January 8th

Ronnie Grandison

Ronnie GrandisonCoach Ronnie Grandison has been training and teaching kids basketball in the Cincinnati area for over 20 years. Ronnie is a former NBA player and has played with the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks.  He also played NCAA Division 1 Basketball for the University of New Orleans.  At New Orleans, Ronnie led the Privateers to their first Division 1 “Big Dance” tournament appearance and a NCAA Division 1 top 20 ranking.  Ronnie played professionally in the CBA where, in 1994, he was voted Most Valuable Player. He has played basketball all over the world: Spain, Venezuela, the Philippines, Israel, and Australia, and others. Ronnie has a passion for teaching basketball and the principles of life through the game. Ronnie has been married for 25 years and has his own team of 5 children.
