Ronnie Grandison Basketball Academy is a fitness and sports center providing professional training in the areas of basketball, volleyball, and fitness. Our programs are designed by professionals that have the proper knowledge base and experience. It is our mission to provide an educational and fun environment, and we are dedicated to the development of our students regardless of their skill level. Family-oriented, RGBA offers programming for a variety of ages. It is our goal to teach students life lessons through physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

We offer year-round basketball opportunities for all ages and skill levels:

  • Group skills classes (boys and girls) from 3 yrs - 14 yrs old
  • Winter Rec Leagues for Kindergarten and 1st grade (boys and girls)
  • Build the Skills Training Class, 3rd-8th grade (boys and girls) - Thursday evening (see RGBasketball.com for more information and to register!)
  • Competitive Tryouts/Teams/Leagues, 3rd-8th boys (see RGBasketball.com for more information and to register!)

Ronnie Grandison

Ronnie GrandisonCoach Ronnie Grandison has been training and teaching kids basketball in the Cincinnati area for over 20 years. Ronnie is a former NBA player and has played with the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks.  He also played NCAA Division 1 Basketball for the University of New Orleans.  At New Orleans, Ronnie led the Privateers to their first Division 1 “Big Dance” tournament appearance and a NCAA Division 1 top 20 ranking.  Ronnie played professionally in the CBA where, in 1994, he was voted Most Valuable Player. He has played basketball all over the world: Spain, Venezuela, the Philippines, Israel, and Australia, and others. Ronnie has a passion for teaching basketball and the principles of life through the game. Ronnie has been married for 25 years and has his own team of 5 children.
