DIG IT! Youth Volleyball

Lil' Bumpers!
Pre-School, 1st, and 2nd Grade
Mondays ~ 5:15p - 6:00p
Introductory class where boys and girls can learn the ABC'S of volleyball in a non-competitive, fun environment!

• The Lil' Bumpers class focuses on the fundamentals of serving, passing, and basic rules.
• We use volley-lites and a low net.
• We scrimmage to explain game play and rotation.
• Each participant will receive a DIG IT! t-shirt!

Bump It Up!
3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade
Mondays ~ 6:00p - 7:00p
- Focuses on skill training!

• Our Bump It Up class practices under hand and over hand serving, passing, setting, and some hitting.
• All positions and volleyball rules will be introduced.
• We scrimmage to practice game play.
• Each participant will receive a DIG IT! T-shirt

Bump, Set, Spike!
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade
Mondays ~ 7:00p - 8:00p
Created to help players improve all levels of their game!

• Bump, Set, Spike is just that...reps of bumping, setting, and spiking using the proper approach.
• We also work on over hand serving, positions, and scoring.
• We scrimmage to practice game play during which coaches encourage using three touches on the ball.
• Each participant will receive a DIG IT! T-shirt

What to wear: Class t-shirt, shorts, gym shoes, and knee pads (recommended for 3rd grade and up).
Makeup Info: A minimum of one make-up class is scheduled during the last week of each term. For more details contact Volleyball Director Debbie Puthoff at 513-616-3039.

Teamwork, participation, and good sportsmanship are stressed in all DIG IT! classes!
