QUEEN CITY GYMNASTICS

BOYS GYMNASTICS COMPETITIVE TEAMS

The Queen City Gymnastics Competitive Team is one of the largest and most successful programs in the country! Offered for boys ages 6-19, the program is geared to bring out the best in each gymnast, whether they are competing for fun or want to make the USA National Team.

Queen City Gymnastics boasts countless records and the one QCG is most proud of is our record of longevity and consistency. QCG has had countless State, Regional and National individual and team titles throughout all levels over the years. Of course, just as important as individual champions and team titles are college scholarships and the number of scholarship athletes from the QC boys competitive team.

Our coaching crew is unique in the gymnastics world. Selected for their genuine love of children as well as their technical expertise, you will not find better coaches anywhere in any sport. Saying it another way, if you are concerned about the character of the people who mentor your children, QCG is the clear best choice for your kids.

Athletes train in a 42,000 sqft (over one acre!) gymnastics training hall, the largest in the nation and perhaps the world. In addition to the apparatus and mats you can see, an effort to provide for your child’s safety goes far beyond what meets the eye and includes: six in-ground trampolines; 8 in-ground dismount pits; as well as 10,000 springs powering our 6-1/2 floor exercise floors! Ask any ‘veteran’ QCG Team parent who has had a chance to visit other USA gyms and they will confirm, you will not find a facility anywhere that even comes close to QCG!

Boys Competitive Team Department Leader

BRANDON NORRIS

Brandon is our new QCG Boys Team Department Leader. Brandon Norris joined us in August of 2020. Brandon has had the opportunity to help coach and produce athletes for private clubs, Region 5, and the USA. Additionally, he has had multiple individual and team state titles, regional champions, qualified kids to nationals and has produced national team athletes. Brandon has been selected to represent Region 5 in regional/national competitions as both an Assistant and Head Coach.

While Brandon’s accomplishments are vast, what is more exciting is the synergy and vision he brings with him. He has embraced the 26 Point Value System of Kids First and is confident that he will easily dovetail his own coaching philosophy alongside those principles. Brandon said “I personally believe confidence is the most important tool for any sport. I believe confidence is defined as believing in yourself, your PREPARATION, and empowering others. The tools these boys learn in the gym are a never ending work in progress that they’ll carry long after gymnastics. This doesn’t just happen. It takes time, hard work, lots of preparation and a fantastic support system to help maintain it all. These things are important when doing the sport; and long after the sport when you hang up your grips."
