Rachel is a 2024 Miami University graduate with a degree in Kinesiology and Biomedical Engineering! She was a competitive gymnast for 16 years before competing with Miami University’s club team.

Rachel's coaching experience spans 10 years prior to her time at Kids First, and includes boys and girls instructional programming, girls compulsory through Level 3, and parent-child classes. Rachel also spent three years as a USAG judge up through Level 8. Rachel began working with the Gym Jam program at Kids First in 2023 and seamlessly moved into her Department Leader role in January of 2024.

Every child needs someone who believes in them and a safe place to be active. Gymnastics is the best way I know how to accomplish this for every child, and Kid First is a great place to do it.

My teaching philosophy is to give every child something new to walk away with. Whether it’s more confidence, a friend, a handstand, or just a happier outlook than when they walked through the Gym Jam doors.
